About Volume Race

Volume Race is a free, daily scoreboard for prediction markets: how much the major U.S. exchanges trade, taken from each exchange's own published reports, plus a tracker of the lawsuits and rules that decide where they can operate.

What it measures

Notional trading volume, every day, for Kalshi, Polymarket US, Polymarket, Crypto.com, Novig, DraftKings, Robinhood, Underdog, Gemini and ForecastEx. Each number is read from the exchange's own daily market data report or feed and treated the same way for every exchange: contracts traded times each contract's payout, counted once at the exchange where the trade happens. Sports, non-sports and combo (parlay) splits come from each exchange's own product codes. Full methodology and sources.

Independence

No exchange pays for coverage, placement or ranking, and the site carries no affiliate or sign-up links. Every exchange's numbers are computed by the same code from public files, and every CSV row links the source file it came from, so anyone can check a figure.

Corrections

Exchanges sometimes revise a day's file; each update re-reads recent days and replaces the old figure. If a number looks wrong, the source file for that day is linked in the CSV download, and the methodology page explains how each exchange is counted.
